This game will take place in Raleigh, with the Hurricanes raising their championship banner in front of the Panthers, who were also champions in 2024 and 2025. The tripleheader will continue with the Boston Bruins hosting the New York Rangers, followed by the Western Conference champion Vegas Golden Knights facing off against the Chicago Blackhawks. The night will also see a doubleheader in Canada, with the Toronto Maple Leafs taking on the Montreal Canadiens, potentially marking the NHL debut of Gavin McKenna, the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. The Edmonton Oilers, under new coach Mike Babcock, will host the Vancouver Canucks, and the Pittsburgh Penguins, led by Sidney Crosby, will face off against the Philadelphia Flyers in a rematch of the 2026 Eastern Conference First Round.
